Oakland A’s vs. Texas Rangers at Globe Life Field
The Texas Rangers return to Globe Life Field on Friday, August 13, to open the homestand against the Oakland A’s on Friday, August 13 at 7:05 p.m., followed by games on Saturday, August 14 at 6:30 p.m., and Sunday, August 15 at 1:35 p.m.

Crafting Corner at the George W. Hawkes Downtown Library
Learn new skills and make new friends. This is an open space for everyone to work on their current crafting projects and see what your friends are working on. And you might even learn something new!

Esports Tournament at the East Library and Recreation Center
End summer with a bang and come test your skills at some of the latest and most popular games! East Library and Recreation Center’s Esports Tournament on Saturday, Aug. 14, 2021, will have a variety of games, snacks, and drinks at this event designed for those ages 12-17. Prizes will be given to the winner of the tournament. Registration is $10 and the tournament will take place from 1-4 PM.
