A festive winter spectacle is poised to fill Keystone 1889 next month. For two evenings [Friday, July 16 and Saturday, July 17], audiences will be treated to a Christmas in July feast, accompanied by pantomime and cabaret entertainment. There are still tickets for the Friday night. Book them at www.ctsbathurst.com.au. An Australian Government mobile service centre will be in Blayney next week to provide personalised face-to-face information about government payments and services. Staff can provide support, as well as help to create a myGov account to access government services online. Thursday and Friday, July 1 and 2, 9am to 4pm. Community Centre Carpark. The Youth Textures of One art exhibition will wrap up this weekend, with the final day being Sunday. The exhibition, featuring the works of local students using the theme of “Steam” is open from 10am to 4pm at the Platform Arts Hub, Blayney Railway Station. Melanie Horsnell, Kate Burke, and Robyn Martin – all seasoned identities in the Australian music scene – have teamed up as The New Graces. Songwriters and multi-instrumentalists, they deliver exquisite three-part harmonies, with a little desert heat-haze that could only be Australian. Between them, they weave tales of farmers, hippies, mothers, lovers, the ordinary and the mysterious. CWA HALL, Byng Street Orange (in Robinson Park) on Sunday 27 June 2021 2pm – 4pm. Doors open at 1pm – Refreshments available at the venue. Tickets at www.jamorange.com.au/shop or Landers Music. Every Tuesday from 10am to 1pm … except on the first Tuesday of each month, which is for Millthorpe CWA branch meetings. Held at the newly refurbished Millthorpe CWA Hall, 21 Pym Street. $2.50 You’ll find fruit, veg, local products, plants, jewellery, crafts and lots more at the Blayney Rotary Market, held at Carrington Park on the third Sunday of the month.
