I bought this pattern for a cool sweater but I’m new to the crochet game. Can anyone help me understand what kind of yarn I’ll need? I’m in Vietnam so yarn is limited. Does a #5 yarn mean a yarn best suited to a 5mm hook even though an 8mm hook is required for this pattern? Also #ELI5.
