MS Mega Swim
This weekend
The MS Mega Swim is a fun team relay event and fund-raiser where each team must have a member swimming laps at all times for a 24-hour period. Four Teams have signed – the Blayney Dolphins, Millthorpe Mermaids, The YMCA and Triple F Threat. Commences Saturday May 29 at noon and finishes 24 hours later.

The Cameron ‘Camo’ Hobby golf memorial day is back on Sunday, June 13. Live music, a monster raffle, auction, a sausage sizzle and a nine-hole golf competition are all part of the day. Bring your own projects to work on or join in sewing, knitting, crochet, embroidery, cross stitch, learn something new, or just come for the cuppa and a chat. The Corner Store Gallery is a small, independently run space that exhibits a diverse range of emerging and well-established artists specialising in a variety of mediums. The gallery’s next exhibition will feature Tim WInters’ Ridgeline, the artist’s first solo exhibition in six years, which explores the nature of memory and place. May 19 to 29. Sydney Comedy Festival Showcase

The Sydney Comedy Festival Showcase will bring the crème de la crème of the 2021 Festival to Bathurst on June 5. Musical performance
Musical mavericks, Ensemble Offspring, will perform at the Orange Regional Conservatorium on May 30, bringing together some of the most innovative instrumentalists in Australia. Mushroom Meander

Belly of the World Mushrooms presents a Mushroom Meander in the Mountains with Martin Martini. Martin has eaten over 200 wild mushrooms and is helping to put newly discovered mushroom variables into highly respected restaurants. He will be joined by fungi aficionados Symon Beck and Jsun Lau. Happy birthday
To celebrate the 80th birthday of music legend Bob Dylan (on May 24), a group of Bathurst musicians will host a charity tribute gig honouring his remarkable legacy.
